3-level Hierarchical model

Has anyone got any resources on how to implement a 3-level hierarchicla model?

I am interested to see what the syntax/ notation looks like.

For example, how would I construct a model which has 3-levels in the hierarchy:

  1. Highest tier: hyper-hyper-priors
  2. Middle tier: hyper-priors
  3. Lowest tier: priors

You can check out the baseball batting ability by position example from Krushcke’s Doing Bayesian Data Analysis. It has hits/at-bats nested within players, players nested within positions, and positions nested within a generic/universal “player” that is described by its own hyper.
