Definitely not an answer, more of a general comment- I’m curious why PyMC3 is gaining interest in variational inference; outside of Bayesian NNs, I believe that NUTS/HMC is still preferred for Bayesian inference. So I’m curious, will PyMC3 move to include Bayesian NNs in its medium-long range strategy?
