I know how to set [truncated priors](https://bambinos.github.io/bambi/notebooks/getting_started.html#Custom-Prior) in Bambi. However, how would I set a truncated response variable?

@tcapretto is there a way to do this? I appreciate your kind attention.

Hello!

It’s not possible _right now_ unless you implemented a custom family. However, it’s the next thing I have on my to-do list. I may have good news in a couple of weeks! 😃

That’s great news. Thanks for the update!

Censored models are coming! [Implement censored families by tomicapretto · Pull Request #697 · bambinos/bambi · GitHub](https://github.com/bambinos/bambi/pull/697)

Truncated should follow naturally after that

That’s very cool. Bambi is definitely catching up to Brms! Working on a hurdle model that will definitely benefit from this function!
