If you are interested in getting involved, I would suggest checking out the PyMC Meetup group and the PyMC project calendar. We regularly host office hours (Q&A and discussion of whatever people want to discuss) and a quasi-monthly hackathon to get things done on the codebase. We have also hosted sprints and other events.
