# Pymc3 sampling slow

Hi all,

I tried to run an example from here: [General API quickstart — PyMC3 3.11.5 documentation](https://docs.pymc.io/en/v3/pymc-examples/examples/pymc3_howto/api_quickstart.html)

On my machine (16 GB RAM) it runs incredibly slowly (222 instead of 7 seconds). I get some warnings, can it be that something is wrong with theano? Versions are in the screenshot:
