Thanks, I’ve seen bambi before and might try it this time.
I personally do not like the terminology/notation of “fixed” and “random” effects and the way R treats this. I see that bambi mimics model creation in R, and that is good if you come from an R background. Yet I prefer python 
What’s more, this way of initialization is like a black box to me. I prefer to specify priors explicitly, understanding what happens behind the curtains and learning something on the way.
