Simple question: correct way to save traces?

Holy shit, I just killed everything in my folder with pm.save_trace(trace, directory=".", overwrite=True)

Managed to save the open notebook, but everything else is gone. Wasn’t under version control either, so …

I might humbly tag that as undesirable behaviour.
