@mjedrz unfortunately I didn’t notice your question in time. About the same time (over christmas) I wrote mcbackend which among other things can be plugged in to PyMC to store the draws & stats in a ClickHouse database.
There’s an example in the readme.
Essentially it allows you to access the draws in real time from another machine & continuation could also be realized.
I didn’t test it with pm.sample_smc though.
