This is a nice essay about what happens to geometry in high dimensions that Toph Tucker, data viz whiz and general math junkie, wrote after a conversation we had about Betancourt’s paper on the geometry of Hamiltonian Monte Carlo.

I especially love this vizualization of the radius of points sampled from a normal distribution in different dimensions!
