Hello PyMC Community,
My name is Chirag, and I am a third-year Computer Science student. I have a solid background in Python, full-stack development, and I am eager to begin contributing to PyMC with the long-term goal of participating in GSoC 2027.
To familiarize myself with the codebase, I recently worked on the CAR distribution batch size limitation and submitted PR #8434. This update enables vector-valued alpha and tau parameters to properly support batch sizes greater than one. The PR is currently open and ready for review.
While I await feedback on those changes, I would like to maintain momentum and take on another issue. Are there any particular modules, outstanding bugs, or upcoming features that the maintainers would recommend I focus on next?
