“GSoC 2026: Interested in contributing to PyMC (Streaming Inference)”

Hi everyone,

I’m a student interested in participating in GSoC 2026 with PyMC. I’ve recently submitted a pull request to PyMC and am currently exploring areas where I can contribute further.

I’m particularly interested in Streaming inference, and I’d appreciate any guidance on suitable next steps or beginner-friendly issues in this area.

Can you link the pull request you made for this? Also it would help if you could share a notebook outlining how you have used the library and how you would like to use the library after streaming inference has been implemented?
