I’m S Varshini, preparing for GSoC 2026 and interested in contributing to PyMC.
Background:
- Python programming (NumPy, pandas basics)
- Learning Bayesian statistics and machine learning
- Just made my first open-source contribution to Aeon (NumFOCUS)
- Interested in improving documentation and examples
Questions:
- Which repository should I start with - pymc or pymc-examples?
- Are there specific documentation gaps that need attention?
- Should I focus on docstrings or example notebooks first?
