Hi everyone!
My name is Cassie. I have recently started exploring PyMC and am very excited to keep learning about Bayesian inference. I read this really great introduction to Probabilistic Programming and Bayesian Methods for Hackers and am now planning to start contributing to PyMC by tackling beginner-friendly issues and example notebooks. I have contributed to other open source libraries before and each time, I learned a lot about the topic of the library as well as new programming skills.
I am studying computer science and statistics at McGill University, so I truly look forward to working on projects that incorporate both of these fields. I intend to apply for GSOC this spring, so I hope to learn a lot about PyMC before then!
