I am new to open source projects. And have never contributed to an open project.
Can someone point me in the right direction.As to how and where?

A couple of suggestions. First, we have a contribution guide here that covers much of the standard procedure. Next week, you have the opportunity to attend PyMC office hours, hosted by me and @jessegrabowski where you go ask us (or others) about where to start. Of course, you can always take a look at the open issues, particularly those that have been marked as beginner friendly. If you are unsure, feel free to ask on a specific issue or here on discourse.
